Download Placement Assets with AI Studio Lite

Export virtual placement assets to place within your video timeline

Updated over 4 months ago

After your video has rendered, you can download the virtual product placement assets to integrate into your video project using your editing tool.

A friendly reminder that placement assets cannot be re-used. They are created for a specific video and can only be used in that specific video. If you wish to add the same placement to multiple videos, you must upload each video separately to generate a unique set of assets.

Here's a quick interactive demo on how to download placement assets in your Rembrand account:

Alternatively, if you prefer to read, here are the written steps:

  1. Log in to app.rembrand.com, go to the My Library section and find your video. In the action column click on View and Download.

  2. A box will open up and ask you to view the virtual object. Click Download to begin downloading the placement assets to your computer. Select where you want to save the file on your local drive.

    1. If you selected MP4 as your preferred rendering option, you will receive an MOV file with the placement included

    2. If you selected a video editing tool as your preferred rendering option, you will receive a zip file titled “final_vpp_output” that includes several file assets to add to the timeline in your video editing tool Here are the descriptions of the file names included in the folder:

      • IntroAnimation.mov: Animation as the placement appears within the video scene

      • ExitAnimation.mov: Animation as the placement leaves the video scene

      • MaskedPlacementNoAnimation.mov: Placement with occlusion mask applied, to account for a human or associated object that blocks the product placement

      • Placement.png: Placement object , no occlusion mask applied

  3. If you selected a video editing tool as your preferred rendering option, open your video editing tool and insert the assets into the video timeline. The order of placing assets in the video timeline will vary depending on the video editing tool you use, but typically follows this sequence:

    1. Insert the placement or masked placement (if there is occlusion) overlay on top of the raw, unedited video.

    2. Insert the intro and (if using) exit animation on top of the placement

You can learn more here about how to insert placement assets into your video editing tool.

  4. After you've added the virtual placement to your video project and posted your final video, don't forget to share the published URL with us! Find your video within My Library and click Add Publish URL.

  5. Input the TikTok, Instagram or YouTube link for your video and mark it as Published.
