Rembrand enables creators and their editors to easily upload video files from any video editing tool. Rembrand has an automated integration with Adobe Premiere. For other video editing platforms, we recommend using the Sprites method.
Sprites are AI generated overlay placements, animations, rotoscoping masks (a digital outline or “stencil” for isolating out an object or human that obstructs the brand placement) and disclosures used to organically integrate In-Scene Media into video content. With Sprites, creators can incorporate media placements into their videos early in the editing process. Creators can upload a short 10-25 second video clip and receive customized brand assets from Rembrand within 30 minutes to one hour (delivery time varies depending on the length of the video). This quick turnaround time allows for seamless incorporation of brand assets into the video project early on and minimizes the need for manual adjustments later. Sprites also offers greater flexibility to embed brand placement into the video.
Sprites assets cannot be re-used. They are created for a specific video and can only be used in that specific video. If a creator has multiple videos eligible for the same brand campaign, they must upload each video separately to generate a unique set of sprites assets for each video.
Here's a quick interactive demo on how to upload a video to your Rembrand account:
Alternatively, if you prefer to read, here are the written steps:
After logging in to app.rembrand.com go to the “Video Upload” section and click on “Upload File”.
Select the video you want to upload from your computer. The video file must meet the following requirements:
File format: MP4 or MOV
Length: The full duration of the video scene where you plan to insert the placement
Camera shot: Raw, unedited, fixed camera shot of the scene where the placement will be added
Occlusion: If there’s a chance that the brand placement will be blocked or covered by another object (such as a hand waving or a head movement), please ensure that you include footage where this occlusion occurs in the file.
An “Edit Detail” window will appear with a preview of your video. Confirm the video file name and click "Next".
Set your hero shot to choose the optimal frame or input the exact timestamp where the placement should appear. Please keep the "This is a raw video" box checked by default. Then click "Next".
Specify your publishing details, including:
Expected Publishing Time: Indicate the date you plan to publish the video.
Publish Channel: Specify the channel where you intend to post the video.
Once you have reviewed and confirmed all details click “Upload”.
Please allow a few moments (typically within 1 minute) for your video to upload.
After your video finishes uploading you’ll see the following notification. Click “Open AI Studio” to go to Rembrand AI Studio, where you can add In-Scene Media Placement to your video.
