"Promoted Only"posts - Twitter

Promoted-only Tweets are only shown to users targeted in your ad campaigns. Unless specifically targeted, they do not show up on your followers' timelines and are not visible in search results.

Promoted-only Tweets are made within your ads account. When seen by a targeted user, they function just like normal Tweets and can receive replies, be shared, Retweeted, and liked.

Twitter "App" Card Type. "App" card types are most obviously identified by the inclusion of a CTA button in the promoted tweet.


Step 1

From within Twitter's ads manager, navigate to the Creatives "Tweets" Page.

Step 2

Find the tweet and hover over small tweet image to open a larger preview.

Step 3

From the tweet preview overlay, click the time stamp to open the tweet page.

Step 4

Use the URL from this new page.
