You'll need to share the ad preview with a TikTok UID and the preview will only show for 10 minutes (there are instructions on how to get your UID below).
Create the TikTok ad, once the ad is approved, generate a preview and send it to the User ID.
1. To preview ads using a User ID
Go to the Campaign page.
Go to your Ad list.
Find your ad, and click the 3-dot icon to open a drop-down menu.
Click Preview.
Select the placement where you want to create a preview.
Choose User ID as the preview method.
Obtain and enter your User ID.
Click Confirm.
Open the same app on your phone as the one you selected for your ad placement. If you chose Automatic Placement, you can preview your ads in any of the apps available on TikTok Ads Manager.
Refresh the home screen page of the app you opened on your phone. Your ad preview should appear.
2. Obtain a User ID (UID) to share the preview
Settings Method: Obtain your User ID (UID) by tapping on the settings page.
When using TikTok, you can obtain your User ID (UID) using the Settings Method.
Download and log in to TikTok
Go to your Me page.
Click the 3-dot icon in the top-right corner.
Scroll all the way down until you see your app version number a the bottom of the page.
Continuously tap on the version number, and your User ID (UID) will appear. A notification will alert you that the UID has been copied to your clipboard.
3. Once you're able to share the TikTok preview with the UID, it will appear on your mobile TikTok feed only. Once you see the ad on your feed, click the Share icon to copy the ad URL.
4. Open TikTok URL on your desktop browser
