AI Edit — Make Quick Changes from a Preview Link

Fix a typo, punch up a CTA, or tweak colors by describing the change. You can do it right from a creative's preview, with no trip to Ad Builder.

AI Edit lets you make small changes to a finished creative by describing them in plain language, right from its preview link. It's built for the last-mile tweaks that get an ad to final approval, such as a misspelled name, a stronger call to action, or a shorter headline. You don't need to open Ad Builder.

Open AI Edit

  1. Open the creative's preview link. You can copy one from the creative's Overview tab.

  2. Click AI Edit (the sparkle button) at the top right of the preview.

  3. The AI Edit panel opens beside the ad. If you see Log in to edit, sign in to Spaceback first. Anyone can view a preview link, but only signed-in users can edit.

AI Edit works on desktop and mobile, so you can make a quick fix from your phone.

Make an edit

  1. Type what you want to change in Describe an edit… and send it.

  2. The preview updates right away. Changes are marked as unsaved, and only you can see them until you save.

  3. Keep refining in the same chat until it looks right, for example "a bit shorter" or "try a different color".

  4. Click Save & re-render. Spaceback updates the existing creative and re-renders it with your changes.

Because you're updating the same creative, its ad tags carry the new version, so you don't need to re-traffic. Give the re-render a few minutes, then check the preview.

  • "Change 'Dr. Garica' to 'Dr. Garcia'"

  • "Make the CTA more urgent"

  • "Shorten the headline"

  • "Warm up the colors"

Tips for good results

  • Be specific. Quote the exact text you want changed, and say what it should become.

  • One change at a time. Small, separate requests are easier to check than one long list.

  • Review before saving. Play the full ad in the preview, including the end card, before you click Save & re-render.

What AI Edit doesn't do

  • Brand name and profile. These come from the brand, so change them in the brand's profile.

  • Bigger changes, such as a new hero video, a different layout, or new sizes. Click Open in Ad Builder from the AI Edit panel. See How to Build a Creative with Ad Builder.

  • DCO versions. AI Edit isn't available on individual DCO versions. Edit the main creative or use Ad Builder.
