Setting Up Conversion Tracking

Three steps for Brands to track downstream actions from Rembrand landing page web traffic

Updated over 7 months ago

With Rembrand Multi-Touch, clients are able to deliver their full branded message (via a short video ad) to consumers who have been exposed to native in-content virtual product placement. Retargeting reinforces the brand’s message, increases the frequency of brand exposure, and allows for additional measurement capabilities including brand lift studies.
High level overview on Rembrand Retargeting including FAQ

When launching a Rembrand Multi-Touch campaign, brands may want to track specific conversions from Rembrand's landing page to their brand's site.

Without Conversion Tracking set up, Rembrand is still able to provide reporting on web traffic from the landing page URL (typically hosted at getpromo.ai/YourBrand). Data provided includes the number of clicks from the video ad to the landing page, and the number of clicks on the landing page which leads to your desired brand site.

With Conversion Tracking set up, brands are then able to track any specific actions that take place on their owned sites coming from this specific landing page.

To set up Conversion Tracking, a new site tag for Rembrand will need to be set up within your company's Google Tag Manager account (if applicable). The quickest & easiest method to set up this tag is to provide Rembrand with user access to Google Tag Manager via the 3 steps below, which should take less than 5 minutes.

  1. Log into Google Tag Manager and navigate to Admin > User Management

  2. Click on the Plus icon in the top right and choose Add Users

  3. Add our technical product lead Roman ([email protected]) who will be assisting you with setup. At a minimum, check the box for User.
If provided access as an Administrator, Roman will also be able to assist you with any tag/conversion customization.

If you do not have Google Tag Manager, or are not willing to add Rembrand as a user to your GTM account, follow these instructions to manually add conversion tracking.
