Rembrand has an Apple Mac desktop app that facilitates more optimized video uploads. If you are having any issues with the app, please check for app updates.
Steps to upload a video project file from Final Cut Pro:
Launch Final Cut Pro and open your video library with the project you wish to submit to Rembrand. It is best to use a library that only contains the project for Rembrand to execute placement. Navigate to File > Share > Send to Rembrand...
Final Cut Pro will open a sharing dialogue window. To start the export, click Next...
Final Cut Pro will start to execute the export, rendering down a preview of your video and exporting the relevant clips. You can monitor the progress of the work that Final Cut Pro is doing within the Final Cut Pro "Background Tasks" monitor panel.
During this time, the Rembrand app will also open and appear with an "Exporting" status.Once Final Cut Pro completes, you will get a notification that says "Share Successful". Do not close Rembrand or Final Cut Pro yet.
IMPORTANT NOTE: At this point, Final Cut Pro has successfully shared your project to the Rembrand uploader. Rembrand will now kick off its process to share your project to the Rembrand servers. Final Cut Pro is reporting "share successful", however this is just the point at which Rembrand can start its process.
The Rembrand Uploader App will now archive the files shared from Final Cut Pro, which should run quickly. You can monitor the progress of this step from the Rembrand Uploader App.
If you are prompted to grant permission to read video project files on your computer, please grant it permission. Click Grant. If you are prompted to confirm your access code to log in to Rembrand, log in and confirm.
Finally, the Rembrand Uploader App will upload the files to the Rembrand servers. The time it takes is dependent on your internet connection speed. Rembrand will display your internet speed as well as the time remaining for the upload, and the progress of the upload. This progress screen will clear out once the upload is completed.
Rembrand has now received your video files! If you wish to confirm, log into app.rembrand.com and navigate to My Library on the left. Your video from Final Cut Pro will now appear here with the status Uploaded. Head to bed; jump back in here tomorrow to see what AI can do!

Troubleshooting
If you are having any issues with the above process, check the version of your app by going to the Rembrand Uploader menu and clicking "About Rembrand Uploader". It will automatically check for updates each time it is launched, and will ask to install the latest version when a new version is found, which will likely fix any issues.
Please install any app updates when they are available. If everything is up-to-date and you are still experiencing issues, reach out to your Rembrand contact for help, providing the Version and Build Number (shown in the screenshot above, e.g. Version 1.0 (23)) and we are happy to assist you.
