You can generate visual mocks of virtual product placement in three ways: through scene search, which makes it easy to reference the mock directly within a scene; through a package, for quick visualization; or through a proposal, if you need the mock linked to a specific proposal.
Generate Mocks from Scene Search
This workflow saves the mock as a new scene, which can then be added to a package.
Navigate to Scene Search
Find the scene you wish to add virtual placement to and click the three dots in the upper right corner
Click Visualize
Upload your creative/brand asset or generate from an eCommerce link
Select the placement type (e.g. product placement or signage opportunity) and click Generate Preview. Allow a few moments for the mock to generate.
Refine and View the Mock
If you are not satisfied with the visual, you can use the AI chat to refine the image.
Click Open to view a preview of the mock in a new tab.
Save the Mock
Once you are satisfied with the mock, click Save as New Scene.
The scene is saved as a new scene with the asset included. Note that the original scene remains unchanged and can be reused to add new placement.
Generate Mocks from a Package
This workflow is useful for quick visualization, ideally when you want to take a screenshot or save the mock to insert into a deck.
Prerequisite: You must first create a label to group scenes into a package. See here for step-by-step instructions on that workflow.
Navigate to the Packages sections
Find the package containing your grouped scenes and click into it
Click Visualize
Upload your creative/brand asset or generate from an eCommerce link
Choose whether to generate a mock for
All scenes in the package (if more than 1)
Or a single scene
Select the placement type (i.e. product placement or signage opportunity) and click Generate. Allow a few moments for the preview to generate.
Refine and View the Mock
If you are not satisfied with the visual, you can use the AI chat to refine the image.
Click the arrow icon to open the asset preview in a new tab.
Assign Mock to a Proposal
If you previously created a proposal, you can assign the mock to it by selecting your proposal from the dropdown and clicking Assign to Proposal.
Generate Mocks from a Proposal
This workflow saves the mock and associates it with your proposal so you can easily return to it later.
Navigate to the Proposals section
Locate your proposal and click Visualize
Note: If you do not yet have a proposal, you must create one first. See here for step-by-step instructions.
Click Generate
Upload your creative/brand asset or generate from an eCommerce link
Select the placement type (i.e. product placement or signage opportunity) and click Generate Preview
Refine and View the Mock
If you are not satisfied with the visual, you can use the AI chat to refine the image.
Click Open to view the asset preview in a new tab.
Click Save as Preview to save the mock so that it automatically loads the next time you return to view or edit it.
You can return to the proposal at any time to view the saved mock. Click View Preview to open the mock and download the file to your computer.
Note: Only one mock is saved per scene at a time. Regenerating a mock with new creative will overwrite the previously saved version. To view previously generated mocks, click History.
