Video Interactions and Metrics

What exactly does a Spaceback video ad measure, and where do the numbers land? Here's the full picture.

What a video unit reports

Spaceback video creatives — CTV, OLV, L-Bar, Overlay, and Pause — serve via VAST tags and report the standard video events to your ad server:

  • impressions / start

  • quartiles (25%, 50%, 75%)

  • complete — this powers VCR (video completion rate)

  • click-through

  • mute/unmute and pause, where the player exposes them

Because these flow to whichever ad server hosts the tag — CM360 or Innovid — your platform reporting and Spaceback Reports describe the same delivery.

Innovid-served campaigns

Creatives pushed to Innovid carry the same event set: impression, quartile, and completion tracking, click-through, and 1×1 event pixels. QR-equipped CTV units report scans back to Spaceback (Reports → QR Codes) regardless of ad server.
