Connect to Prove Results

Link your YouTube account to Rembrand’s Ad Manager account to ensure the value of your YouTube audience is realized by brands

Because in-scene media is non-interruptive, advertisers cannot track clicks or any direct actions taken by your viewers. By linking your Google account to Rembrand, we can ensure that the value of your YouTube audience is fully realized by advertisers. We use this connection to enable additional media types, allowing advertisers to track traffic back to their site and attribute your audience to campaign success. Most brands require campaign reporting, so Rembrand's ability to measure your video's performance helps increase your likelihood of future sponsorship opportunities.

Steps to connect your YouTube account:

  1. Log in to app.rembrand.com, navigate to “Account Setup” within the left side rail, and click “Connect” within the “Connect to Prove Results” section.

  2. Your YouTube Channel Dashboard will automatically open in a new tab (log in if needed) and present a pop-up box labeled “Google Ads account linking”. Enter a link name e.g. “Rembrand Ads Account”, keep all three features selected, and click “Link”.

    Linking your account provides Rembrand with the ability to view aggregate viewer metrics and create retargeting campaigns based on past interactions of aggregate viewers. The specific features Rembrand has access to, as defined by YouTube, are as follows:

    • View counts: Organic view metrics for video ads (run by Rembrand) will be shared with the linked Google Ads account (Rembrand).

    • Remarketing: The linked Google Ads account can show ads to people who visit and interact with your channel.

    • Engagement: Insights into how people interact with your channel after viewing your ads will be shared with the linked Google Ads account.

    You will never be charged for any media as Rembrand runs media campaigns via Rembrand’s Google AdWords account on behalf of brand clients. Please note that Rembrand cannot access data specific to individual viewers; all viewer and audience data associated with a given YouTube channel remains within the YouTube ecosystem. Additionally, Rembrand cannot add, delete, or modify videos on your YouTube channel. Rembrand will never request access to modify anything in your YouTube account. If at any point you wish to unlink your YouTube account from Rembrand, you may do so within your YouTube Channel Account Dashboard.

  3. A message will pop up confirming the account link is saved. You can close your YouTube Channel Dashboard tab and return to app.rembrand.com and see that your account is connected.
