Is there a maximum video length within Spaceback?

Short answer: your ad follows your video's length. CTV ads snap to the nearest standard spot length and use an end card to fill the gap; online video ads run exactly as long as your video. The longest ad is 120 seconds.

CTV ads

We round your video up (or down) to the nearest standard CTV length — 6, 15, 30, or 60 seconds — and the end card fills whatever time is left over. A few examples:

  • 3-second video → 6-second ad with a 3-second end card

  • 12.4-second video → 15-second ad with a 2.6-second end card

  • 6-second video → 6-second ad, no end card needed

  • 23-second video → 23-second ad (no standard length fits), no end card

  • 61-second video → 60-second ad

  • Anything over 2 minutes → 120-second ad (the VAST maximum)

You can still change the end card or its length on the End card step.

Online video (OLV) ads

The ad is exactly the length of your video, with no end card by default.

These formats aren't affected — they keep their own fixed timings.

Want a shorter ad from a long video?

Pick the segment you want on the Setup step, or use Smart clip and we pull the strongest segment automatically. The ad length then follows the clip.

Ads you built before this rule arrived keep their saved length until you change it.
