Media is cropped automatically to each format's media window — but when you want control over the crop or layout, here's where it lives.
Per-size crop in Ad Builder
On the Spread step, switch the Customize panel to Pro. Under Essentials → Crop & layout you control:
Layout — framed post, edge-to-edge, story, or banner-only
Media aspect — the crop applied to your source media for this size
Pro mode edits the selected size tile only; Basic mode applies your change to every size in the pack.
Per-variant editor in the Pack
On the Pack step, click Edit variant on any tile for a focused editor with the same controls scoped to that one variant. Save and close keeps your edits; Reset clears layout nudges only.
Three tips for sharp media
Upload the highest-resolution source you have. Assets are targeted at 2× the media window so they stay sharp on high-density screens — the builder flags anything below that as low resolution.
Upload full, uncropped source rather than pre-cropped files. Extra pixels scale down cleanly; missing pixels can't be recovered.
Check the media windows. Exact per-size dimensions — including how each caption line trims media height — live in Creative Specs.
