Saved Templates — reuse your team's favorite layouts

Short answer: a saved template is a layout your team names once and reuses on every new ad. Move the logo, QR code, captions, or other elements where you want them, save it as a template, and next time pick it in Ad Builder — your ad starts with that exact layout.

What a template saves (and what it doesn't)

A template saves the layout only: where each element sits, how big it is, whether it's shown or hidden, and any elements you've added. It does not save the video, the copy, or the brand's colors and logo — those still come from the post and the brand you're building for. That's why one template works across every brand on your team.

Templates belong to your team: everyone on the team can see and use them.

The Templates page

Open Templates in the sidebar.

  • Saved layouts — your team's templates. Click a card to open and tweak it, or use Rename and Delete.

  • Create a new saved layout — Rembrand's built-in layouts, grouped by format: Horizontal, End cards, Vertical, L-Bar, Overlay, and Pause. Pick one as your starting point.

Picking a card opens the layout editor (it doesn't start a new ad). Move and resize elements on the canvas, show or hide them, or Add element. The preview uses sample content so you can focus on the layout.

Save a template

Click Save as template, give it a name your team will recognize (for example "Brand QR — Bottom Right"), and click Save template. If the name is already taken, you can rename it or replace the existing template.

Save as template

You can also save a template straight from your work:

  • In Ad Builder — in the Advanced layout editor (Finalize → Edit variant), click Save as template to keep the layout you just built.

  • From a finished ad — in Creatives, open the ⋮ menu on a rendered video ad and choose Save as template.

Use a template in Ad Builder

On the Formats step, your team's templates appear in a My Templates row above the ads, showing only the ones that fit the format you're viewing (for example, horizontal templates on the CTV tab). Click one to apply its layout to that ad — the chip lights up while the layout is in use.

My Templates on the Formats step

Saved end-card templates appear on the End card step, in a My Templates row under the E01–E03 options.

End-card templates

Applying a template copies the layout into your ad. After that you can keep adjusting the ad, and later changes to the template — or deleting it — never change ads you've already built.

Rename or delete a template

On the Templates page, use Rename or Delete on a saved layout. Deleting a template removes the reusable starting point only; ads already built from it keep their layout.
